Transactions in Aeon Desktop Client grids can be sorted in ascending or descending order by column. Request transactions are, by default, sorted by the Transaction Number in ascending order. Sorting the columns will sort them either alphabetically or numerically, depending on the column you choose to sort. For example, the column TransactionNumber will sort numerically; the column ItemAuthor will sort alphabetically by the author's name. There are two ways to sort the grid by columns.
Quick Toggle
To sort transaction order by a single column, click the column header. The column will sort by ascending or descending order. A small arrow to the right of the column header displays the sort direction.
The Sort Command
- To further sort by columns, right-click the column header and choose either Sort Ascending or Sort Descending.
- All transactions in the grid will sort according to the hierarchy of the first column sorted, then the next, and so on.
Clear Sorting
To clear the last sort command performed, right click and select Clear Sorting. If using the Sort Commands, this will clear the last sort command you performed.
