Overview
Outstanding requests are those requests that are active: they are in the process of being supplied to the researcher or have been checked out to the researcher and have not been moved to a finished state. Canceled and finished requests are not active. Outstanding loan and photoduplication requests can be reviewed, edited and resubmitted for processing from the web interface.
Reviewing Outstanding Requests
To review outstanding requests:

Click the Outstanding Requests option from the Order History dropdown menu to view the Outstanding Requests grid:

A list of all outstanding loan and photoduplication requests will be shown.

Click the Title of the transaction that you want to review:

The request is displayed, showing transaction information details along with any associated billing information, notes, and the tracking log:
Editing and Resubmitting Outstanding Loan Requests
Outstanding loan requests can be resubmitted by using the Edit Request command. Loan requests can be edited when they are at a transaction status of Awaiting User Review, Awaiting Request Processing, Awaiting Future Request Processing, Awaiting Activities Processing, and Submitted by User.
Requests that have been canceled by the user or canceled by staff cannot be edited but can be resubmitted. If a reading room request has been initialized into a photoduplication request by staff in the Aeon Desktop Client and the photoduplication status is anything other than Submitted by User, the request cannot be edited.
- Click the Outstanding Requests option from the Order History dropdown menu to view the Outstanding Requests grid.
- Open the outstanding loan request by clicking the Title of the transaction that you want to edit.

Click Edit Request:

The edit request form for the item opens.

Make any changes necessary and click Submit Request:

The Aeon home page opens with a status line noting the edited request was received with the same transaction number:

The edited request displays with the same transaction number as the previously submitted request on the Outstanding Requests page:
Editing and Resubmitting Outstanding Photoduplication Requests
Outstanding photoduplication requests can be resubmitted by using the Edit Request command. Photoduplication requests can be edited only when they are at a photoduplication status of Awaiting Order Submittal.
- Click the Outstanding Requests option from the Order History dropdown menu to view the Outstanding Requests grid.
- Open the outstanding photoduplication request by clicking the Title of the transaction that you want to clone.
- Click Edit Request.
- A new photoduplication request form opens. The item information is carried over from the outstanding request.
- Make any changes necessary and click Submit Request.
- The Orders to Submit page appears displaying the edited photoduplication request with the same transaction number.

To resubmit the transaction, check the box next to the title of the newly cloned request to select the request and click Place Order:

The edited photoduplication request is submitted with a new order status of Awaiting Order Processing and can be viewed in the Outstanding Requests grid:
