The Copyright History tab on the Item form tracks the history of an item's copyright processing. This grid includes all fields from the ItemCopyrightHistory table, which records changes made to an item's copyright and the time the change was made. Entries are added to the Copyright History grid when changes to the items are saved. Entries are also added when copyright is removed from an item, whether the copyright was obtained through the CCC or an alternate copyright provider. This ensures that all previous efforts to obtain copyright permissions are recorded for an item.
The Copyright Notes Field
The Copyright Notes field allows you to add a copyright-related note to the item (ItemNotes.NoteType = Copyright). Copyright notes are added to the Notes field on the Details tab.
