Editing Requests

You can make changes to request information in the client on the Request form. Additional information can be added and edits can be made to the Request Information section (found under the Detail tab) and to the Photoduplication Billing form under the Billing tab, when the request has a photoduplication workflow. All changes are tracked on the History tab of the Request form.

Changing Request Information

Changes to fields in Request Information can be made by clicking on the appropriate field in the Detail tab of the Request Form.

  1. Edit the field by typing the new information or selecting the information from the drop-down field.
  2. Edited fields are highlighted in yellow until the form is saved.
  3. Click the Save icon on the Quick Access Toolbar to save the changes.
  4. Changes to Request Information are recorded in the History section of the History tab and are reflected on the Billing Information section of the Billing tab for photoduplication requests.
  5. The search fields on the Z39.50 Search tab are automatically updated when items are added manually or request information is edited.

Changing Billing Information

Changes to fields in Billing Information for photoduplication requests can be made by clicking on the appropriate field in the Billing tab of the Request Form.

  1. Edit the field by typing the new information or selecting the information from a drop-down field.
  2. Edited fields are highlighted in yellow until the form is saved.
  3. Click the Save icon on the Quick Access Toolbar to save the changes.
  4. Changes to Billing Information are recorded in the History section of the History tab and are reflected ontheRequest Information section of the Detail tab.

Tracking Changes in History

The changes described above are tracked in the History group of the History tab with the message, Request Information Modified.
