Document Delivery Reasons for Cancellation

The Reasons for Cancellation and Reasons for Not Found that are displayed in the ILLiad Client for Document Delivery requests can be changed in the DocDelNotFoundReasons table in the ILLiad Customization Manager. In the Customization Manager go to Doc Del | Reasons | DocDelNotFoundReasons. The table will be displayed in the Customization Manager, showing the reasons and any notes associated with those reasons. 

Adding Reasons for Cancellation/Not Found

Changes to the DocDelNotFoundReasons table are made using the Table Options buttons in the Home ribbon of the ILLiad Customization Manager. To add a new reason to this table:

  1. Open the ILLiad Customization Manager.
  2. Navigate to DocDelNotFoundReasons table (located under Doc Del | Reasons)
  3. Click New Record. The Edit Row window will open below the table.
  4. Enter the values for the new reason:


    The reason number.

    • Reasons should be in numerical order beginning with 0 and proceeding sequentially with no gaps in the enumeration.
    • Be sure that the ReasonNumber field in each table as it is displayed in the Customization Manager reflects the proper order and enumeration.
    • Reasons that are out of order or numerical gaps can lead to the wrong reasons being applied to transactions as they are cancelled.
    NVTGC This will be filled in automatically.
    Reason The reason text that will be displayed in the Reason for Cancellation and Reason for Not Found dropdowns in the ILLiad Client.
    DefaultNote The default text that will populate the note field below the Reason for Cancellation and Reason for Not Found dropdowns in the ILLiad Client when this reason is selected. This can be left blank.
  5. Click Save. The new reason will be added.
