Instead of staff having to manually remove electronic items from the server and update the photoduplication status, the Aeon System Manager can be configured to automatically clean up electronic files associated with transaction requests.
When these files are removed by the Aeon System Manager, the photoduplication status is automatically changed to Order Finished. Deleting electronic files affects only the photoduplication status of the request. It does not affect the transaction status of the request. In the user's web account, the request will remain in the Outstanding Requests grid until the transaction status is changed to Request Finished (normally when the item has been re-shelved). At that time, the request will move to the list of finished requests and can be viewed under the History Requests menu.
