As of Aeon 5.2, the Main Menu web page (MainMenu.html) has been deprecated and is not included in the Aeon default web pages. The Aeon home page will be set to the Outstanding Requests web page (ViewOutstandingRequests.html) by default for new installations. For more information, see Configuring the Aeon Home Page.

The Aeon Main Menu web page will display differently based on the version of the Aeon default web pages you are using.

Current Web Pages (Aeon 5.0 and Later)

The Main Menu (MainMenu.html) web page functions as the Aeon home page and is comprised of the following pages and content:

  • The HTML page used to create the header is include_header.html
  • The HTML page that contains the navigation menu (include_nav.html) and the web alerts is include_menu.html
    • The navigation bar (include_nav.html) contains links to a variety of different HTML web pages used for requests, orders, activities, appointments (if enabled), searching, and user profile options
  • The table visible on the Main Menu is the ViewOutstandingRequests <#DATAREPEATER>
  • Above the list of Outstanding Requests are:
    • Status lines that will display based on your Aeon configuration settings and actions taken by the user. SLMainMenu will display on the Main Menu page by default
    • The tag cloud (<#TAGCLOUD>) displaying the tags associated with the currently logged-in user's requests
  • The HTML page used to create the footer is include_footer.html
    • The footer contains a link to the Site Map (SiteMap.html)

Legacy Web Pages (Aeon 4.1 and Earlier)

The image breakdown of Main Menu page shows the different pages that comprise the MainMenu.html web page:

  • The HTML page used to create the header is include_header.html
  • The HTML page used to create the sidebar menu is include_menu.html
  • The table visible on the Main Menu is ViewOutstandingRequests.html
  • The HTML page used to create the footer is include_footer.html
  • A variety of different HTML web pages are used for the Requests, Orders and Activities menu options
  • The HTML pages used for the Change User Information and Change User Password options are ChangeUserInformation.html and ChangePassword.html
