The ILLiad Customization Manager contains five Setup Wizards that will help you configure various ILLiad components. The ILLiad Setup Wizards are the Contact Information wizard, the Policies wizard, the SMTP wizard, the System Setup wizard, and the Web Interface wizard.
- In the ILLiad Customization Manager, click on Setup Wizards to see a list of the different wizards.
- Select the Setup Wizard you would like to use. The Wizard will open and you will see navigation arrows.
- Navigate through the customization keys using the Forward and Back buttons. You can also use the First and Last buttons to start at the beginning or go to the end.
- Once you have finished editing in the Setup Wizard, click the Close button to exit.
When using the setup wizard, you must move through the setup with the wizard navigation buttons, as the Customization tree will not be active. The Search and Favorites controls on the Home page will also not be active. Because the customization manager retains the progress you've made in the setup wizard, you can close the wizard or the customization manager before completely customizing a feature. The next time you open the wizard for that feature, it will resume at the location where you previously stopped.
Contact Information Setup Wizard
The Contact Info Setup Wizard will allow you to set the address, email, phone, etc. for both your library and your ILL department. It will also allow you to specify the email address and name that any outgoing ILLiad emails will send from.
- Open the Contact Info Setup Wizard by going into the ILLiad Customization Manager and clicking on Setup Wizards, then Contact Info.
- Fill in the values for the customization keys listed below.
- Once you have filled in all the needed values, click Close to close the Setup Wizard.

Policies Setup Wizard
The Policies Setup Wizard will allow you to set some general policies in ILLiad regarding cloning, copyright, and others.
- Open the Policies Setup Wizard by going into the ILLiad Customization Manager and clicking on Setup Wizards, then Policies.
- Fill in the values for the customization keys listed in the tables below. Descriptions are given for each key to help you in filling out the information.
- Once you have filled in all the needed values, click Close to close the Setup Wizard.

SMTP Setup Wizard
The SMTP Setup Wizard will allow you to set the keys used to configure emails settings in ILLiad. You will need the username and password for your email service.
- Open the SMTP Setup Wizard by going into the ILLiad Customization Manager and clicking on Setup Wizards, then SMTP.
- Fill in the values for the customization keys listed in the tables below. Descriptions are given for each key to help you in filling out the information.
- Once you have filled in all the needed values, click Close to close the Setup Wizard.

The System Setup Setup Wizard will allow you to set options regarding upload method, printing and scanning, authentication, and many other general ILLiad settings.
- Open the System Setup Setup Wizard by going into the ILLiad Customization Manager and clicking on Setup Wizards, then System Setup.
- Fill in the values for the customization keys listed in the tables below. Descriptions are given for each key to help you in filling out the information.
- Once you have filled in all the needed values, click Close to close the Setup Wizard.
