When patrons accidentally submit a Loan request as an Article RequestType and a staff member changes the RequestType in the client to Loan via the radio buttons (or visa versa), this will not automatically change the DocumentType. As a result, when the request is cloned in the webpages, it will check the DocumentType and not the RequestType to determine which edit form the patron should see. This will cause the request to be submitted as the incorrect RequestType once again or cause the patron confusion since the form will not have fields that match the actual DocumentType.
When changing the Request Type in the client, change both the Radio buttons for the RequestType and the drop-down for the DocumentType so they match the requested item. For more information, see Changing Request Type.
