The Options form contains Ares Client customization features and links to often-used Atlas websites and support. Use the Customize form to choose Client display colors for Blocked and Disavowed users and items in Items in Processing. The Resources form contains helpful information, links, and an Atlas Support directory.
Viewing Ares Information
The Resources tab of the Options screen in the Ares Client contains useful information and options for troubleshooting including database connection information, a clear cache option for the embedded WebView2 browser, and helpful links to Atlas documentation and training resources.

Accessing the Resources Tab
To access the Resources tab from the Ares Client:
- Click on the Main Menu Icon() on the Home page and select the Options button.
- The Ares Options window opens.
- Click the Resources button located in the menu on the left side of the window.

Complete information on each section of the Resources tab is detailed below.
WebView2
As of Ares Client v5.0.9, the WebView2 section contains the version number for the currently installed version of the WebView2 embedded browser. The Clear Cache option for the embedded WebView2 browser is located beside the version number information for this component. Clicking this option will clear the WebView2 cache (including cookies, saved logins, and browser history) on the local machine for the current staff user logged into the Client. It is recommended to use this option only when troubleshooting/debugging addon behavior in the Ares Client.
Database Connection
The Database Connection section contains information on the current database connection used by Ares on the machine. The server address and database name will be listed here.
Helpful Links
The Helpful Links section contains the following links to Atlas documentation and resources that will be helpful when troubleshooting:

The Contact Support section contains phone and email contact information for Atlas Support.
Setting Ares Display Colors
- Click on the Main Menu Icon() on the Home page and select the Options button.
- From this screen, you can change the color in which Users and Items appear in Ares. By default, blocked users display in search results in red and disavowed users display in gray. Items open for processing display in status queues in blue.
- Select a new color from the drop-down list to change any of these display options.
- Click OK to exit the Options screen.
