Setting Ares Client Options

The Options form contains client customization features as well as links to often used Atlas websites and support. Use the Customize form to choose client display colors for Blocked and Disavowed users and items in Items in Processing. The Resources form contains helpful database information, links, and an Atlas Support directory.

Viewing Ares Information

The Resources form holds important information about your Ares system, useful links, and a support directory. The Ares logo and current version number are displayed at the top of the form.

  1. From the Ares main screen, click the Main Menu Icon (MainMenuIcon.png) in the top left corner.
  2. Click on Options.
  3. Click Resources.
  4. On the Resources tab, you can view version information, helpful links, and a support directory.

Setting Ares Display Colors

  1. From the Ares main screen, click the Main Menu Icon (MainMenuIcon.png) in the top left corner.
  2. Click on Options.
  3. From this screen, you can change the color in which Users and Items appear in Ares. By default, blocked users display in search results in red and disavowed users display in gray. Items open for processing display in status queues in blue.
  4. To change any of these display options, select a new color from the drop down list.
  5. Click OK to exit the Options screen.
