Like most Windows-based programs, the ILLiad client is launched by double-clicking on the appropriate icon. After launching the ILLiad client, you are presented with a login window. Enter your username and password and press return or click the OK button to log in. This password may be different from your ILLiad Web logon password. This will open the ILLiad main page, displaying the Home tab and the Request, Report and System Groups.
Before using ILLiad, staff users will need to set up an account in the ILLiad Staff Manager. See ILLiad Staff Manager for instructions.
- Double click the ILLiad Icon to open the login form.
- Enter your Username and Password and select the Site you want to log into. Then click OK.
- If you want ILLiad to remember your Username and Site for each future login, check the Remember Me box before clicking OK.
Closing the ILLiad Client
Close the client by clicking the X in the upper right corner of the ILLiad client, or by using the Exit command in the ILLiad Icon. Click Yes to confirm that you want to exit, or click No to remain in the client.
If changes have been made to the layout of any forms or grids in the client and you have not saved them using the Save Layouts command, the Save Changed Layouts checkbox on the Confirm Exit form gives you the opportunity to save those changes before exiting.
