Adding Document Delivery Requests Manually

You can add Document Delivery requests manually for any ILLiad user by opening their user record and clicking Add Request.

  1. From the ILLiad main screen, search for the user you want to add a request for using the Search Users group.
  2. On the User form, click Document Delivery in the Add Request group.
  3. A new blank request form (an Article request by default) will open and and assign a transaction number. Until saved, the request will be at the status of Request Added through Client.
  4. Fill in citation information for the request. Make sure to select the correct Request Type (Article or Loan).
  5. Route the new request to the appropriate queue, or click Save and the request will be automatically routed to Awaiting Request Processing or Awaiting Copyright Processing.
