Sending Emails from the User Form

You can send a user an email directly from the User form using either a template email or a blank email form. Click the top half of the Email button, located on the Home ribbon of the User form, to compose the email using a blank email form. Click the bottom half of the Email button to select a pre-formatted email based on a User email template.

Sending an Email Using an Email Template

To send a user an email based on an email template:

  1. Click the top half of the Email button to open a blank email form.
  2. Complete the To, CC, BCC, and Subject lines of the email header and compose the body of the email.
  3. The To field will be pre-populated with the value from the Email field from the User form if that value exists.
  4. If the value does not exist or needs to be edited, make that change.
  5. Click the Send button to deliver the email to the user.
  6. The User form returns to the Details tab and the email transaction is recorded on the User form's History tab.

Sending an Email Using a Blank Email Form

To send a user an email based on a preconfigured email template:

  1. Click the bottom half of the Email button and select a templated email form to open.
  2. Edit or complete the To, CC, BCC, and Subject lines of the email header. To edit the body of the email.
  3. The To, CC and Subject fields will be pre-populated with the values configured in the email template.
  4. Click the Send button to deliver the email to the user.
  5. The User form returns to the Details tab and the email transaction is recorded on the User form's History tab.
