Managing Atlas Video Training Library Groups and Licenses

This article contains directions for managing your Atlas Video Training Library group account and distributing the licenses to your library staff after you have set up or been invited to a subscription group.

You should already have a Video Training Library account and subscription. If you don’t already have a group subscription, contact Atlas Support at support@atlas-sys.com.

Invite Users

As the owner of the group, you will need to invite users to your group and distribute the licenses to them:

  1. Log in to https://accounts.atlas-sys.com/ with your Video Training Library username and password. You created this account when you set up your subscription online or after being invited to a subscription group. After logging in, the Accounts module will open.
  2. Select your group from the Group menu at the top of the page. Group_menu.png
  3. Click the plus sign next to Invitations. Invitations.png
  4. A pop-up window will open where you can enter the staff member’s email address. The Access Level will typically be User. Admin level gives permission to add/remove other users. Owner level gives permissions to add/remove other users and to add subscriptions to the group.
  5. Click Save for each user you want to add. Invite_New_Member.png
  6. Newly invited group members will receive an email invitation to join your group. Accepting the invitation will allow them to create an account and log in.
  7. If the user does not get the email invitation, you can obtain a direct link to the invitation by clicking the Invite Link icon next to the user’s name in the Invitations section of the Group page. Invite_Link.png
  8. After the user creates an account, you will need to approve the user for access to the subscription.

Approve New User Accounts

You as group owner now need to approve the addition of the user/staff member to the subscription:

  1. Log in to https://accounts.atlas-sys.com with your username/password.
  2. Select your group from the Group menu at the top of the page.
  3. Scroll down to the Subscriptions section at bottom of the screen.
  4. Click the Edit icon to the right of the Video Training Library entry and a new page will open. Edit.png
  5. Click the green plus-sign to the right of your new user(s) to include the newly added member(s) of your group in the subscription access. Plus_Sign.png
    You will need to take this action for your own user account as well.
  6. The green plus-sign will change to a red X. Clicking the red X will remove that user from the
    license.
  7. Once the users have been added to your subscription, they will be able to access the video content.
