Aeon 5.1.8 server and 5.1.18 default web pages point release now available

Atlas released an Aeon point release on Monday, November 15th to address several bugs affecting the Aeon Web Interface. This release includes a new version of the default web pages (v5.1.18) as well as a separate server update (v5.1.8) that will install a new version of the Aeon Web DLL (v5.1.3). Note that the newest Aeon default web pages are not automatically installed and your pages must be manually updated so that any customizations are not overwritten.

Important information regarding the Aeon Server update: This version of the Aeon Server includes a fix for a bug introduced in the previous version of the server (v5.1.7) that affected the ability to edit requests in order to associate them with a reading room appointment. To ensure that this bug is fixed for all sites, all Atlas-hosted Aeon users on v5.1.7 will be automatically updated to v5.1.8 and notified when this process is complete.

You will not need to make any additional web page updates after your server update is complete to fix this bug with the appointment scheduling feature. Other bugs addressed by the server release may require a separate web page update after your server update is complete - please review the release notes linked above for more information.
