Upcoming ILLiad SAML Module Update on June 17th, 2025

On Tuesday, June 17th, 2025, Atlas Systems released an update to the SAML module, now available for users on ILLiad v9.2.3. This update includes several important enhancements and fixes:

• Improved handling of OpenURL parameters
• Enhanced error logging for SAML responses
• Resolved issues with the logout functionality
• Better support for multi-value attribute processing

Updating Procedures

Please review the release notes and contact your hosting provider with any questions.

Server Update:

• OCLC Hosted: Please contact OCLC support to schedule the update.
• Atlas Systems Hosted: N/A since alternative SSO integration methods are recommended for hosted sites.
• Self-hosted: Please review the updating instructions to run the ILLiad Server automatic updater.

Client Update

• No client-side update is required for this release.
