Upcoming ILLiad Update on April 14th, 2022

Hello ILLiad Community,

On Thursday, April 14th, 2022, Atlas Systems will be releasing a server update for both ILLiad v9.2.x and 9.1.x and a client update later this week for users on version 9.2. This update will include updates to DOCLINE, the Odyssey Manager, OCLC custom searching, OCLC policies directory, and a few other small updates. In addition, we’ve added functionality to the Web Platform's Create Transaction API endpoint to enhance the user searching/creation connection for several integrations. Note: An urgent update is not required unless your workflows are impacted by these fixes. This update is NOT a security update.

Updating Procedures

Please review the release notes and contact your hosting provider with any questions.

Client Update: If you are on ILLiad v9.2, you will receive a prompt to update as soon as the new version is released. ILLiad 9.1.x users are not impacted. The client update is not dependent on the server update and can be performed at any time.

Server Update:

• OCLC Hosted: Please contact OCLC support to schedule the update.

• Atlas Systems Hosted: Hosting services will be sending a separate email on Monday 4/18/22 to coordinate the update.
• Self-hosted: Please review the updating instructions to run the ILLiad Server automatic updater.
