Time zone change

Recently, every appointment's start time was shifted six hours earlier. Historical appointments and ones created before the event that caused it occurred. No time zone change was made by us, and my IT folks don't think any sort of server error could have caused this. 

Reminder emails to researchers caused quite a bit of panic, especially for our not local users.

Did anyone else experience something like this? It's worrying that we don't know what caused it.
