Deprecation of Microsoft Basic Authentication

Hello ILLiad Community,

Microsoft announced the deprecation of Basic authentication in Exchange Online for Microsoft/Office 365 applications with an end of support date of October 1st, 2022. After this date, Microsoft will begin disabling Basic authentication for certain protocols in Exchange Online. SMTP Authentication (SMTP Auth) will also be disabled if it is not being used. Please note we do support sites using their own SMTP servers, but we do not currently support Oauth for SMTP.

If you’re currently using SMTP Auth, no action is required to continue using this functionality.
