Adding Email and Fax Information to Constant Data for OCLC Requests
Currently (as of ILLiad 9.1.3), there is a bug with Constant Data applying the Email Address and Fax Number in the creation of a new OCLC request. Here is a workaround to solve this issue:
In the Customization Manager, navigate to System --> OCLC --> WorkformMapping table. You will need to add new entries with your email address and fax number for Article and Loan request types.
Click the New Record button and complete the fields in the new record:
- Workformtype = Article
- OCLCFieldName = Email
- ILLiadFields = You Email Address
- ConstantDataAction = Overwrite
Click the Save button in the Ribbon.
You will then need to create another record for Loan changing the Workformtype = Loan. Create 2 more similar records for Fax changing OCLCFieldName to Fax and the ILLiadFields value to your fax number.
Be sure to restart the ILLiad client after making the Customization Manager changes.
