Staff requests that aren't for reference

Hello, we are new adopters of Aeon. When a staff member puts in a request, we want to be able to run reports that can easily distinguish between requests that an individual staff member made for a reference purpose versus requests that same staff member made for another purpose (such as checking boxes out for a processing project). We're wondering how other institutions might handle this. Thank you.

    We do this quite a bit ourselves. We simply created additional "Checked out to..." queues. For example:

    • Checked out to Reference
    • Checked out to Staff
    • Checked out to Conservation

  • At Harvard, we do the same thing that Matt described. We have a lot of staff use queues for reference, technical services, conservation, etc.
