Aeon 5.2.6 point release
Tomorrow, February 7, 2024, Aeon version 5.2.6 will be released. This point release fixes several bugs in both the Aeon server and client.
Bug fixes include:
- resolved appointment username mismatch error where usernames could be entered with different casing, which could cause an error loading appointments in the client (server & client)
- fixed an issue where tags used to import information from the Aeon database into emails (e.g., <#System.GeneralEMailAddress>) would not import the correct value when configured in the From or Reply To fields on email templates (client)
- fixed an issue where changing the status of an appointment could save other inforamation on the appointment form without enforcing data, which could lead to an error loading appointments (client)
- Updated the scripting used by the Aeon System Manager to the latest version (server)
- Updated the MS OLEDB SQL driver installed by the Aeon Server Installer/Update scripts to v19.3.2 for enhanced security (server)
- Updated the scripting used by the Aeon Client and Customization Manager to fix an issue affecting addons using WebView2 browsers where closing a request form for a request using the WebView2 browser and subsequently searching for a new request in the Aeon Client could open the previous request instead of the one for which the search was performed (client)
The release notes are available here.
This release includes both a server and client update. These updates are not dependent on one another. Staff will begin to receive the client update notification one the release has been made available. Clients can be updated at any time.
