DOCLINE 3.2.6 Scripts Released to fix the manual request form

Good Afternoon ILLiad Community,

A few users have reported an issue that was preventing the “Manual Request - Place Order” feature from working properly. This was due to the usage of a hyphen vs em-dash in the page’s title. A new set of scripts has been added to the ILLiad downloads for manual updating.

What does this mean for future updates?

The scripts use a strategy that will identify both versions of page titles so any future updates will not require any additional action whether or not you update to version 3.2.6.

Updating the DOCLINE scripts

We’re not going to push this fix to the auto-updater since DOCLINE plans to issue a fix for this in the upcoming months. If you frequently use the manual request form, please replace your DOCLINE scripts with the latest version (v3.2.6) to fix this form.

  • If you use the DOCLINE automatic updater – Check the DoclineAutoUpdateEnabled key to see if you enabled the auto-updater. If this key is set to yes, download the scripts and replace the scripts in the following locations:
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\ILLiad\Docline
    • C:\ProgramData\ILLiad\Docline\
  • If you normally manually replace scriptsDownload the scripts and replace the scripts in the following location:
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\ILLiad\Docline

Replacing the scripts according to the update method will ensure any future updates will run smoothly.

Note: depending on your institution's setup, you may need administrative privileges to replace the scripts and/or may need to contact your local IT support for assistance. For instructions, see DOCLINE Configuration.
