Here is an updated schedule for the ILLiad 24th Birthday event now available for registration. This schedule is subject to change, so please check the schedule in the event center each day.

Tuesday 3/16

• 2:00 - 2:30 PM Eastern - Please attend our Open House and tour the new Atlas Systems' virtual event center, say hello at our Ask Atlas or Concierge tables, and enter the daily prize drawing.
• 2:30 - 3:15 Eastern - Please select 1 of 3 training presentations to attend including:

1. Pipeline Power with DSP 

   ILLiad's Decision Support Pipeline (DSP) is a powerful new feature that allows requests to enter your workflow pipeline then funnel requests to the system of YOUR choice based on YOUR custom business rules. For example, when receiving requests from Faculty you could route to RapidILL first and if unsuccessful onto OCLC Automated Request Manager with no staff intervention. For undergraduate statuses, you might choose to check Open Access first and if unsuccessful onto Reprints Desk or CCC Get It Now for a staff selected lowest price fulfillment option. The choices and workflows are endless with both unmediated and mediated options. This session will highlight some DSP addons, sample business rules, and demonstrate workflows for mediated and unmediated options.

2. Custom Searching and Reporting in ILLiad

   ILLiad's custom search feature allows you to easily query your data right from the client. It is so easy to construct queries using the built-in controls with the most often needed tables available. It is also very easy to export for use in other reporting or communication tools. For example, you might query for faculty who've placed requests over the past year and export their email addresses for use in a survey to assess satisfaction and solicit feedback for your services. We'll demonstrate custom searching and the option to connect to ILLiad data using Microsoft Power BI, Access, and Excel.

3. Custom Routing Rules for Smarter Workflows

   Kerry shares her favorite routing rules for workflow efficiency in this session. She'll cover matchstring basics, gotchas, & testing tips. You'll be on your way to routing wizardry after this presentation.

1. ILLiad Developer Roundtable

   If you've built an ILLiad addon, used the API, or have the skills to try then this session is for you. We invite developers in the ILLiad community to connect with Atlas devs to see how we can collaborate to add value to library services using Atlas developer tools. Attend this session to share your projects and tell us what would make it easier for you to extend ILLiad at your organization. We'll also discuss modifying your addons to use Chromium.

2. ILLiad 9.1 Web Project Showcase

   ILLiad 9.1 brought new mobile responsive design, accessibility enhancements, and Boostrap to the patron interface. Attend this session to see the new design and how some sites have already implemented. Genie will share examples and best practices to help you get started with your 9.1 web project.

3. Automatic User Creation and Profile Updating

   Did you know that ILLiad can now create patrons automatically and update profile information upon login using many Remote Authentication systems and the User Validation option? This feature will be more widely available for use with the 9.2 release of integrated SAML, but you can begin preparing now by learning how to plan for your own implementation of this powerful feature.
